CanadaBuys: how to search federal government tenders
CanadaBuys is the official window for Government of Canada solicitations. It replaced BuyandSell.gc.ca and runs on SAP Ariba. Sidona does not replace it — it watches CanadaBuys (and provincial boards) so you see the right RFPs faster.
What you still do on CanadaBuys
- Create a supplier account and get a Procurement Business Number (PBN)
- Link your SAP Ariba profile
- Download the official solicitation documents
- Submit the bid before the closing time

- Search Ontario, Quebec, BC, or city notices
- Read a 400-page PDF for you
- Match RFPs to what your company actually does
- Catch jobs written in different words than your alert
